A Boreal IM-managed asset in Belleville, France, near Lyon, has been shortlisted as a finalist in this year's BREEAM Awards.
The asset was acquired in 2024 and the Boreal team in France improved the BREEAM score from 40.5% (Good) to 70.6% (Excellent) through:
- A programme incorporating energy efficiency measures, water management initiatives and health and wellbeing enhancements
- Advanced monitoring infrastructure, including BMS integration and leak detection systems
- Improved operational performance while complying with France's Tertiary Decree and alignment with CRREM decarbonisation pathways
